“Thank you so much to Helga Wengler and Mitch Lynch, for the great recipes on the “Homeplate for the Holidays“ show. I love the way Helga takes such pride in the preparation of her recipes, just like my mom and grandmother did growing up. My generation may use fancy kitchen gadgets to make short work of meal preparation, but recipes like these need to be made the way they were intended to be made. When we take the time to prepare thing the “old-fashioned” way, we are actually bonding our families with traditions for a lifetime of memories!
