‘Spring Graduating BFA Show’ at McDonough April 27-May 12

The McDonough Museum of Art, located on the campus of Youngstown State University, will open its “Spring Graduating BFA Show” on April 27. The exhibit features work by YSU students graduating this semester from the Department of Art. An opening reception occurs from 6-8 p.m. on Friday April 27 and the exhibit will remain on view in the galleries until May 12.

Traditionally, at the end of the fall and spring semesters, the McDonough Museum honors graduating seniors with an exhibition of their work. This year, the exhibit will feature the work of 14 students in various media. Students include Zanoah Battles, Lauren Fanfer, Jenna Germano, Marcy Gussenhofen, Kaitlin Infante, Brian Johnson, Marissa Jovenall, Melissa List, Eric Moore, Jess Pollis, Christie Sindledecker, Ashley Swinehart, Lezlie Thorndike and Melanie Vlad.

The McDonough Museum of Art is open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free. For additional information, call 330-941-1400 or visit http://mcdonoughmuseum.ysu.edu/
