PHOTO ALBUM/VIDEO: Mahoning National Bank, downtown Youngstown

The Mahoning National Bank Building was built in 1910 by Albert Kahn of Detroit. As America’s foremost industrial architect, Kahn helped Henry Ford realize mass production and the assembly line. Kahn also designed academic buildings at the University of Michigan, mansions for Detroit’s auto barons and various cultural and industrial buildings throughout the Motor City. Other Youngstown buildings by Kahn include Northside Hospital, the Stambaugh Building and the Julius Kahn home on Tod Lane.
