  1. Thanks for this interesting clip. The narrator gives no solid facts to support his contention that working in a steel mill is as safe as in any other industry. When this film was made, steelworkers had no collective bargaining rights. Did they have any control over workplace safety? Probably not.

    • That’s why I was sure to mention that it was a promotional film. It probably was made in response to calls for unionization. This is just a clip. There was more, which I do not have.
