The Davis Family YMCA will hold its 5th annual “Afternoon of the Arts” from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6. The art show is dedicated to the memory of Jon Naberezny, long time professor and chairman of the Art Department at Youngstown State University.

The event is free and open to the community and will feature artists at work, live performances, children’s art and activities, and light refreshments.  Attendees will have the opportunity to add their fingerprints to the Global Art Project Peace Tree. The event also features a meditation walk and tea in the garden (weather permitting) and a juried art show. The show, titled “But I Know What I Like,” will feature artwork judged by non-professionals.

The “Afternoon of the Arts” is being held in conjunction with National YMCA Arts Week.
