NOVEMBER

18th Annual Pillars Fashion Show. Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown; 330-259-0555. The 18th annual fashion show will feature a social hour, lunch by Saratoga Catering, and raffles and auction items. Fashions provided by Dillard’s Southern Park Mall, Chico’s, Suzanne’s, Lingenfelter Brill, Chic Chateau, Marisa’s Tutu Bowtique, and DK Dazzling Designs by Debbie Kostka.  Local community and media representatives will act as models. The Rick Derringer 50th Anniversary and World Premiere Concert. Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown; 330-259-0555. “The Rick Derringer 50th Anniversary and World Premiere Concert” features a star-studded celebration of the state song of Ohio, with performances by Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent Band), Joey Molland (Badfinger), Pat Travers (Pat Travers Band) and many more. The Pops: Country Legends. Edward W. Powers Auditorium, Ford Family Recital Hall, 260 W. Federal St., Youngstown; 330-744-0264. “Country Legends” was created in conjunction with Youngstown Symphony Conductor Randall Craig Fleischer. It serves as a tribute to the greatest names in country music and includes favorites from Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Dolly Parton. Little River Band. Westminster College Celebrity Series, Orr Auditorium, 319 S. They set a record for having Top 10 hits for six consecutive years  – the first band to achieve that mark. “Reminiscing” was recognized by BMI as one of the most frequently played songs in the history of American radio. Their ’70s and ’80s chart success in America includes “Happy Anniversary,” “Reminiscing,” “Lady,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” and “The Night Owls.” The current lineup brings new energy and arrangements to the classic hits. It’s always fun to watch as people are swept up by the show’s vitality and the number of hits from LRB’s history. Mike Forney of Youngstown will stage his play “I Was Fine Before I Met You” for one night. The play features Carl Payne (“Martin”), Vincent Ward ( BET’s “The Game” and  “The Walking Dead”), Misty Alli (  “Exit Strategies”),  and Yolanda  “Yoyo ” Whitaker (“Boyz N The Hood”). 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21.

The Pops: Christmas on Broadway. Edward W. Powers Auditorium, 260 W. Federal St., Youngstown; 330-744-0264. Performers Elizabeth Southard and Gary Mauer from Broadway’s “Phantom of the Opera” and the national tour of “Showboat” perform holiday and Broadway melodies, Youngstown State University President James Tressel will narrate “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and local celebrities perform “The Toy Symphony.” The concert underwritten in part by the William B. and Kathryn C. Pollock Foundation and Stifel Nicolaus & Co., Inc. 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12.

Kenny G. Holiday Concert. Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown; 330-259-0555. In a recording career that spans almost three decades and 23 albums, Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Kenny G has grafted elements of R&B, pop, and Latin to a jazz foundation. Since the early 1980s, his combination of instrumental chops and indelible melodies have resulted in sales of more than 75 million records and more than a dozen climbs to the top of Billboard’s contemporary jazz chart.  He will be performing many of his career hits and as well as songs of the holiday. 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15. $50, $45, $40, $35.
