June 4, 2016: RiverFest returns to B&O Station, Mahoning River area

The 5th Annual RiverFest will occur from noon-5 p.m. on June 4 at the B&O Station.

Friends of the Mahoning River is sponsoring the event, which showcases the positive environmental aspects of the Mahoning River. Admission and parking are free.

During the event, the Trumbull Canoe Trails Club will give free kayak and canoe rides on the Mahoning River and the Artists of the Rust Belt will host its Summer Art Festival inside the B&O Station.

In addition, vendors and activities will be set up outside.

Other activities include face painting, Aut-Mori clowns, craft tables, exhibits and children’s activities.
